Director of Programming

JoLanda Rogers joined Lead2Change as a volunteer; inspired by the mission of Lead2Change she participated in student recruitment interviews for the 2013-14 program year and the 2014-15 program year. JoLanda’s professional experience includes; Center Director – for Knowledge Universe through Kinder Care Learning Centers , Club Manager – for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Instructor – for ROSS Innovative Employment Solutions, and Deputy Managing Director – for NATHA (Neighbors Acting Together Helping All) in Pasadena California.

JoLanda’s career journey has united her passion, purpose and profession through her role at Lead2Change as Director of Human Potential. JoLanda is an exceptional leader in community empowerment by promoting positive collaborations for growth and change; especially concerning youth development.

JoLanda received her undergraduate degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.

As a child, what did you dream of becoming when you grew up?

As a child, I dreamed of becoming an Attorney and traveling the world prosecuting high profile crimes.

What’s the most courageous thing you’ve ever done?

The most courageous thing I’ve done to date is take a zip line 150 feet in the air… and I loved it!

What fictional character do you wish you could meet?

If I could meet a fictional character, I would meet Special Agent Oso. He faces every challenge with the most creative solutions and his world is always full of excitement and success!
